Our Goal
Expotem is an association of retired people who meet each week in order to create exhibitions concerning various aspects of culture, history, science and the environment. The exhibitions are presented to the public in order to satisfy the needs of the general public and school children for learning more about diversified subjects.
An Association of Volunteers
All the members of the association are volunteers who work for free and include 13 retired people aged from 59 to 90 years old. It is interesting to note that not only do all the members work for free, but Expotem is an association where each member pays dues in order to belong and participate.
Our meeting place
The members of the association meet every Tuesday in a room provided by the town of Saint-Renan, France. At the present time, they occupy the first floor of a building located on the premises of the nursery school called “Le Petit Prince”.
Meeting times
From 9AM in the morning to about 5:30 PM and up to 7 PM if a project is underway.
Lunch break
The noon meal takes place from approximately 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Sometimes we eat our meal in our workshop, most often we go to a local restaurant called “La Scala” in Saint-Renan.
